DescriptionKistler Law Firm, APC is seeking a reliable and professional Receptionist for our Palmdale office. Prior law office experience is not required. We are looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, organized, coachable, and comfortable speaking with clients, potential clients, visitors, and callers.The receptionist is often the first person a potential client speaks with, so the right candidate should be warm, patient, professional, and able to communicate with urgency and care.Responsibilities include:Answering and directing incoming phone callsGreeting and assisting clients, visitors, vendors, and office guestsScheduling appointments for potential and current clientsReceiving, scanning, routing, and organizing mail, faxes, packages, and documentsCreating new client files in the firms electronic case management systemKeeping the reception area, conference rooms, break rooms, and shared office spaces neat and organizedManaging and replenishing office suppliesBreaking down boxes and moving mail, documents, packages, and office materials to the appropriate locationAssisting attorneys and staff with basic administrative tasks as neededIdeal candidate:Friendly, professional, and dependableStrong phone and customer-service skillsOrganized and detail-orientedCoachable and willing to learnAble to follow instructions and office proceduresComfortable working with clients and potential clientsAble to work in a busy office environmentSpanish fluency is a plusPrior receptionist, customer service, retail, hospitality, call center, or office experience is helpful, but not required
