Attorney/Lawyer

We are looking for an accomplished Attorney/Lawyer to join a legal team in New York, New York that advises and defends clients in complex litigation matters. This opportunity is well suited to a lawyer who is confident managing active cases, collaborating with sophisticated clients, and handling disputes involving injury, product-related claims, and transportation-related exposures. The role offers broad exposure to high-stakes defense work for domestic and international business clients across several regulated industries.Responsibilities:• Manage litigation matters from early case assessment through resolution for clients facing insurance defense, product liability, and other tort-related claims.• Advocate for clients in disputes involving bodily injury, fatality claims, property damage, cargo-related losses, and comparable civil actions.• Conduct and defend depositions, develop factual records, and drive discovery strategy in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.• Prepare, file, and argue motions, briefs, and other court submissions with strong attention to legal analysis and procedural requirements.• Build case strategy, evaluate liability and damages exposure, and provide practical recommendations tailored to each client's business objectives.• Support trial readiness by organizing evidence, working with witnesses and experts, and assisting with hearing and courtroom preparation.• Represent a diverse client base that may include air carriers, insurers, transportation companies, manufacturers, and other corporate entities.• Maintain consistent communication with clients and legal teams regarding case developments, deadlines, and litigation strategy.
