Senior Accountant
Our client has an immediate need for a Senior Accountant in their Birmingham office. This is a permanent opportunity with excellent benefits. Who: Strong stable organization What: Senior Accountant When: Immediate need Where: Birmingham, AL Why: Newly created position Salary: $65k - $70k +/- plus incentives - depending on experience Duties:
- Prepare financial statements, investor distributions and communications
- Prepare monthly financial packages and maintain financial activity for portfolio of assets, including bank reconciliations and supporting schedules
- Research, document and implement positions and policies on accounting pronouncements Preparation of initial draw for new deal closings
- Assist in special projects as needed
Qualifications: -BA Accounting degree (CPA preferred) -3+ years related accounting experience
