For us, purpose and people have always come before profit.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following):Partner with Mortgage Operations leaders and subject matter experts to understand processes supporting the mortgage loan lifecycleAnalyze operational workflows to identify manual, repetitive, or time-intensive activities that may benefit from AI or automationIdentify bottlenecks, handoff challenges, and opportunities to improve efficiency across operational teamsDocument current-state processes and help design improved future-state workflows incorporating AI and automationTranslate operational challenges into structured requirements and solutions in partnership with Business Operations, Technology, Data, and other teamsAssist with the design, testing, implementation, and scaling of AI and automation solutions across Mortgage OperationsDevelop reporting, dashboards, or tracking tools that provide visibility into operational performance and improvement opportunitiesGather feedback and monitor implemented solutions to identify enhancements and additional automation opportunitiesHelp measure the impact of solutions, including improvements in efficiency, turnaround time, capacity, and reduction in manual effortManage multiple AI and automation initiatives while coordinating effectively across business and technical stakeholdersREQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field0–2 years of professional experience in business operations, business analysis, process improvement, data analytics, financial services, technology, or a related areaDemonstrated interest in AI, automation, or using technology to improve business processesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex workflows and identify inefficienciesStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with operational data and business metricsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environmentExceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detailProactive, curious mindset with a willingness to learn mortgage operations and emerging AI capabilitiesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPrevious internship or professional experience within mortgage lending, banking, financial services, fintech, operations, or technologyExposure to mortgage origination, loan processing, underwriting, credit/risk operations, or related functionsExperience with process mapping, requirements gathering, workflow analysis, or continuous improvementFamiliarity with AI tools, generative AI, prompt engineering, automation platforms, or business intelligence toolsThe expected salary range for this position is between:$72,100.00 - $87,700.00The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences.
