Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 8-week contract
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, with potential to float to Wisconsin Rapids, Plover, and Divine Savior locations
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Every other holiday rotation required
• Can be placed on low census and put on call; call back minimum is 2 hours
• Work in a Med Surg Intermediate Care/Telemetry unit treating stable, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke patients
• Manage primary patients and insulin drips
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• EPIC charting experience strongly preferred
• Must be a fast-paced, independent worker who is resilient and manages change well
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Stepdown/Intermediate Care/PCU required
• At least one completed travel contract required - no new travelers
• Required certifications: WI or compact RN license, BLS, ACLS (AHA or ARC certifications required)
• Scrub color: Any

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a 12-bed ICU unit and a 23-bed Med Surg unit, providing comprehensive inpatient care across a wide range of medical conditions. The facility supports a fast-paced intermediate care environment with a strong emphasis on independent practice and adaptability. Staff are expected to manage a diverse patient population and may float to additional nearby locations as census needs require.
