Description: Facility provides emergency care with 12 ED beds. Offers DX, CT, and US Imaging services. Travelers must have a permanent address 50 miles outside of the home unit. The average patient census is 40-60 patients per day. Experience with emergency patients, including MVC, SOB, falls, injuries, and DVTs, is required. Typically, 2-3 technologists are staffed during each shift. Staff may include 1 ultrasound tech, 1 DX/CT tech, and 1 x-ray tech, depending on the shift. Technology used includes EMR: EPIC and PACS: Phillips iSite. Unit-specific equipment includes Shimadzu x-ray equipment. No floating between units is required. Weekend rotation is not applicable. On-call duties are not expected. Holiday work will be required approximately 75% of the time. Approval for any requested time off must go through management. Scrub color is black. The unit culture is team-oriented.
