About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Department required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH required; CPI, PALS, TNCC preferred Must-Have: - EKG compliance exam required - EPIC charting system experience required Description: The Registered Nurse will work in the Emergency Room. Mandatory completion of a Pass Fail EKG exam is required for all RNs. The role requires flexibility with scheduling, including 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days every 6 weeks. Holidays may be required as part of staffing needs. No call duties are expected. Basic life support and advanced cardiac life support certifications are mandatory. Additional preferred certifications include CPI, PALS, and TNCC. The nurse should possess skills in arterial line management, blood product administration, and the care of ventilated patients. Experience with interpretation of dysrhythmias and monitoring arterial blood gases is essential. Trauma experience is preferred but not mandatory. Daily patient census and acuity levels may vary. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care. Adherence to professional nursing standards and client policies is required.
