Staff Accountant

We're looking for a Staff Accountant to support our day-to-day accounting operations and help keep our financial processes accurate and efficient. Key Responsibilities: Support day-to-day full cycle accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable Assist with the monthly financial close process, including preparing journal entries, monthly accruals, and reconciling data from various sources and platforms to the general ledger to ensure accuracy Reconcile bank statements and corporate credit cards monthly Collaborate with the accounting/finance team and cross-functional teams to maintain, improve, and support accounting processes Assist with preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements, including flux analysis, ensuring compliance with accounting standards Assist with ad hoc financial analyses and special projects as needed Provide any additional support as needed Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 2-4 years of relevant experience working in accounting or finance departments Solid understanding of US GAAP principles, internal controls, and month-end close processes Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Working knowledge of Google Suite Familiarity with spend management platforms such as Bill.com, Expensify, or RAMP is a plus Power BI experience is a plus Experience with Shopify and ERP systems (NetSuite is a plus) Why CALPAK: Benefits & Perks: 401K w/ company matching Life insurance & Disability coverage Accrued paid time off & floating holidays Monthly wellness credits Dog friendly office Benefits and incentive compensation may be subject to other requirements and conditions #J-18808-Ljbffr
