Automotive Parts CounterpersonThe Automotive Parts Counterperson at Toyota of Naperville will be responsible for managing and coordinating the sales of automotive parts and accessories to both retail and wholesale customers. This individual will play a key role in maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.Schedule:Monday–Wednesday & Friday: 10:30 AM–7:00 PMThursday: OffSaturday: 9:30 AM–6:00 PMSunday: OffCompensation & Benefits: The Automotive Parts Counterperson will receive a competitive salary of $40,000 -$56,000 and comprehensive union benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, and paid time off. One week vacation after 1 year, two weeks after two years. This position also offers opportunities for growth and career advancement within our dealership!Responsibilities:Greet and assist all customers in a friendly and professional mannerProvide excellent customer service by accurately and efficiently fulfilling parts ordersCommunicate with service technicians to determine parts needed for vehicle repairsCheck availability and prices of parts in inventory and through various suppliersUtilize electronic catalogs and resources to look up and locate partsMaintain accurate inventory records and ensure parts are stocked and organizedProcess payments and returns for parts purchasesFollow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction with their parts purchasesCollaborate with sales and service departments to identify and promote parts and accessory sales opportunitiesStay updated on new products, promotions, and policies in the automotive industryRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentAt least 2 years of experience working in an automotive parts departmentExcellent customer service and communication skillsProficient in using electronic parts catalogs and inventory systemsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyAttention to detail and ability to maintain accurate recordsKnowledge of Reynolds & Reynolds is a plusStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally move more than 100 pounds.Must have a valid driver's license
