Our client, a leader in the elevator industry, is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to support hydraulic modernization sales across Utah and select regions of Montana. In this role, you’ll partner with building owners, property managers, consultants, architects, and contractors to identify modernization opportunities, develop customer relationships, and secure business that supports continued branch growth. This opportunity offers strong earning potential through an uncapped commission structure and is ideal for someone who is motivated, proactive, and excited by the opportunity to grow a high-demand territory . Elevator experience is not required, but technical or mechanical aptitude is helpful for understanding customer needs and presenting modernization solutions with confidence. What You'll Do: Business Development & Customer Relationships Build Relationships: Develop partnerships with building owners, property managers, consultants, architects, and contractors throughout the territory. Drive Growth: Identify opportunities to modernize elevator systems within existing and prospective accounts while developing strategies that support customer goals and branch profitability. Develop Proposals: Conduct site visits, assess project requirements, and prepare bids, estimates, and modernization recommendations. Present Solutions: Guide customers through project scope, pricing, contract negotiations, and project planning. Project & Territory Management Support Projects: Partner with customers and operations teams to help ensure successful project execution and satisfaction. Manage Territory: Maintain CRM activity, sales forecasts, market awareness, and ongoing product knowledge. What You’ll Bring: Sales Experience: Success in B2B sales, outside sales, business development, account management, or consultative sales environments. Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build trust, develop long‑term partnerships, communicate effectively, and create value for customers. Business Development Drive: A proactive, self‑driven approach with the confidence to pursue opportunities, build a pipeline, grow a territory, and stay motivated. Technical Aptitude: Ability to learn technical products to assess customer needs and develop solutions within a project‑based sales environment.
