What You ll Do

• Provide physical therapy services in a setting that includes both inpatient (swing bed) and outpatient caseloads
• Deliver patient education and support care plans to improve functional outcomes
• Provide supervision and support to the PTA staff
• Work independently within a smaller team environment while collaborating with the rehab team
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using the facility EMR/documentation system
• Manage time effectively while balancing mixed inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
• Begin orientation/training prior to the permanent PT s departure (selected candidate starts 2 weeks earlier)

What You Need
Required

• Active Arkansas Physical Therapist (PT) License
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 2+ years of PT experience
• NPI number (must have NPI)
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently in a smaller team environment
• Familiarity with EMR/documentation systems
• Strong time management and adaptability in mixed settings

Preferred

• Prior experience in rural/critical access hospital settings
• Comfort with floating between inpatient and outpatient caseloads
• Truebridge/CPSI EMR experience (strongly preferred)

About the Assignment
This 7-week travel assignment supports a leave of absence at a leading facility in Hope, Arkansas. The PT will care for patients across both inpatient (swing bed) and outpatient services, while also providing supervision and support to the PTA staff. A start date of 08/17/2026 is firm , and the selected candidate will begin approximately two weeks prior to allow for orientation and training.
