Travel Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift | Start: 5:45 PM – End: 6:15 AM | Projected Start: September 1, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit during overnight shifts
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient information and care activities in the facility's electronic medical record system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Maine
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts in a fast-paced inpatient environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in acute care settings
