Job Title Registered Nurse (RN) Location One Robert Wood Johnson Place, New Brunswick, NJ 08901 Department Pediatric Pre & Post Anesthesia Care Unit Req # 0000249203 Job Type Full-Time, Day Shift, 40 hours per week (7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. or 6 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) Pay Range $47.85 – $71.72 per hour (anticipated hourly wage range for New Jersey) Job Overview RWJBH is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Pre and Post Anesthesia Care Unit at the New Brunswick campus. Qualifications BSN required Two or more years of recent/relevant pediatric critical care and/or PACU experience Strong communication and organizational skills Proficient computer skills Certifications and Licenses Required BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License APHON required or within 1 year of hire Scheduling Requirements Day shift, 40 hours per week (7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. or 6 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) Rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call When scheduled on a weekend or holiday for a 12-hour shift, will work a single 8-hour shift to maintain 40 hours per week Essential Functions The Registered Nurse provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards, ensuring safety and adherence to ethical standards as defined by the ANA code of ethics. The RN maintains evidence-based practice, advances knowledge, reports safety issues, manages patient population knowledge, delegates tasks to team members, collaborates with other providers, prioritizes interventions with measurable outcomes, integrates the nursing process, and individualizes patient care plans.
