Certified Group Fitness InstructorThe City and County of Denver's Department of Parks and Recreation's (DPR) Fitness Division is seeking passionate Certified Group Fitness Instructors to inspire, motivate, and guide our community members toward healthier, more vibrant lives. With over 150 fitness classes, specialized programs like boot camps and youth fitness, and a dedicated team of 100+ fitness professionals, DPR offers a dynamic environment where fitness thrives! We are currently looking for staff who can teach Spin/Cycle, Pilates, Barre, Essentrics, H.I.I.T., strength-based classes, Boxing, Zumba, Yoga, or any other effective fitness formats. Our ideal candidate has some or all the following experience, skills, and characteristics:Certifications: Current certification from a nationally recognized, accredited fitness organization (such as ACE, AFAA, Zumba, Spinning, etc.)Safety Credentials: Current CPR and First Aid certificationExperience: Industry-relevant experience planning and leading group fitness classesCommunication: Ability to actively welcome feedback, answer participant questions, and handle conflict with an approachable, positive attitudeWe value diversity of ethnicity, race, socioeconomic status, sexual identity, gender, religion, language, ability, and experience and exemplify this through the makeup of our team at all levels.
