Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Prince George’s County

Requirements Possess a valid driver’s license Availability to work 7 days consecutively from Wednesday to Wednesday (live in type situation one week on, one week off) Must be comfortable with computers and your cell phone, as software interaction is required Must be willing to drive medical transport vans Must pass a background check in accordance with CMS and State of Maryland rules Preferred Accredited Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of related work experience Associate’s degree with related work experience First aid/CPR and CMT Responsibilities Include Administer medication and monitor the individual’s physical health, as outlined in the Medication Administration Training program Responsible for the personal care of the individuals served Maintain the individual’s home in a clean, safe, and home-like environment as stated in DDA Regulations Schedule health visits with health care providers, as outlined in the IP, and as individual needs arise Responsible for maintaining individual and household budgets Provide community integration/leisure activities in accordance with the individual’s IP Facilitate the development and monitoring of personal relationships MedSource Community Services, Inc. is a private non-profit Provider of the highest quality health and human services.
