Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Includes Weekends and Holidays as Needed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced acute care emergency room setting
• Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Float between like units or campuses as needed to support census and staffing requirements
• Participate in emergency response team assignments during designated emergency periods, including hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of emergency room nursing experience
• Active South Carolina RN license or valid Compact license required prior to start date
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency room setting
• Familiarity with acute care hospital environments and high-volume ER workflows
