Program Data Assistant

Basic Assignment:

The Data Program Assistant will input and ensure that their respective sites’ data is entered and maintained throughout applicable databases, while ensuring information is complete and accurate. This includes, but is not limited to: daily program attendance, attendance reports, student records, staff information, and audits. Qualifications: Associate degree in Education, Social or Human services, Administration or related field is highly desirable Experience working with and maintaining databases Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to meet deadlines CPR and First Aid Certifications highly desirable Must clear Drug Test and FBI/DOJ Livescan. Fluency in a language other than English highly desirable Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Major Functions: Responsible for collection and monthly submission of program attendance data to the Beyond the Bell Branch of LAUSD, Montebello Unified School District, and Independent Charter Schools, including monitoring of data accuracy and review of management reports. Ensuring consistent communication with designated school districts, in regards to program attendance policies, procedures and trainings Oversight of database entry including: Attendance, Student Demographic & Student Surveys Collaborating with Program Coordinator to ensure database information supports and enhances the annual FPM process Managing pertinent paperwork (e.g., attendance rosters, snack count sheets, and field trip rosters) General Office Maintenance/Recordkeeping (e.g., answering calls, making copies, filing, maintenance of documents) Responding promptly to memos, telephone calls and voicemails from ASAS-LA office personnel Attending all required staff meetings, collaborative partner meetings, and off-site meetings, safety trainings as needed Availability to work evenings and Saturdays as needed Performing other duties as assigned.
