Job Summary
An Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurse is needed at a healthcare facility in a highly busy, fast-paced cardiac intensive care service line that excludes transplant cases. This role involves supporting a unit with the highest acuity in the area, requiring strong cardiac experience to succeed in a demanding environment.

Job Details

• Position Description: Support a high-acuity, fast-paced cardiac intensive care unit, excluding transplant cases, with a focus on cardiac patients. The unit is transitioning to the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system in 11/2026.
• Required Qualifications: BLS Certification, ACLS, NIHSS; 2 years of relevant experience; Licenses to submit.
• Schedule: Dayshift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The unit handles the highest patient acuity and is extremely busy, requiring a nurse with substantial cardiac experience. Charting system is Cerner. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts if less than 13 weeks.
