Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop software architecture and design solutions for complex battery management challenges.
• Implement reliable, high-performance software for real-time embedded systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on battery management and energy intelligence features.
• Design, develop, and own mission-critical features including state machines, fault handling, and diagnostics.
• Support the department with additional duties and tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is required; a master’s degree or higher is preferred.
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience across architecture, design, coding, testing, and release.
• 3+ years of experience using C and/or Python, with C required.
• 2+ years of experience with schematics and peripheral interfaces.
• Experience with multi-core development for safety-critical systems.
• Proficiency with software design and development tools.
• Preferred experience developing battery management systems or working in the electric vehicle or automotive industry.
• Preferred knowledge of AUTOSAR, Automotive Ethernet, and UDS.
• Preferred experience with MATLAB/Simulink and familiarity with software development life cycle and software engineering processes.

• The position offers an annual base pay range of $158,400–$217,800 for the listed locations.
