Director, Commercial Strategy

Build our future together: The Director, Commercial Strategy is part of a high-performing team helping drive current and future Commercial opportunities for Regeneron. Reporting to the VP, Commercial Strategy, the successful candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, innovate and refine strategies and best practices across the business, while anticipating future business needs and mitigating complex global environments. When & where: In the Sleepy Hollow, NY Office for 4 days a week Discover your role: This position will be primarily responsible for the following activities: Spearhead work to evolve Commercial brand planning processes Act as central facilitator for key Commercial collaborative groups, including the Commercial Digital and Privacy Working Group Support cross-Commercial collaboration on strategic digital/social governance and innovation, including initiaitives that address the changing privacy landscape and vendor efficiencies Prepare high-impact presentations for executive leadership and governance bodies Understand and leverage trends in the marketplace and competitive benchmarking to inform strategies for relevant programs, and keep abreast of insights and external advances to reach customers across the commercial biopharmaceutical ecosystem Ensure cost effective delivery of programs, including tracking and monitoring KPIs based on individual/project goals In collaboration with the VP, Commercial Strategy, this role will also participate in the following activities: Identify and develop annual strategic plans for the Commerical organization Partner with Commercial Business Units (CBUs) to drive cross-portfolio strategies and operational effectiveness for in-line brands, with the ultimate objective of helping appropriate patients access and continue to benefit from Regeneron’s medicines Support cross-functional global product launch efforts to drive best practice learnings, including launch readiness, uptake optimization and post-launch product performance Provide support and expertise for CBUs as they prepare for anticipated market events, including gap assessments, scenario plans, war games, analogues/benchmarks and measurement Collaborate with cross-functional partners to plan for and implement priority business initiatives to drive longer-term growth (incl. corporate planning, Business Development assessments and ad-hoc projects) In collaboration with Human Resources, identify key Commercial talent needs, and champion learning and development opportunities This role requires: BA/BS required, MBA or advanced degree (PhD, MD) preferred Minimum years of experience: 12+ with Bachelors, 10+ with Masters and 8+ with PhD/Doctorate At least 7 years of industry experience working with one or more publicly listed biopharmaceutical company, with a successful track record in strategy, management consulting, brand management and/or marketing Experience working with pre-launch, launch and/or on-market biopharmaceutical commercial teams Deep understanding of commercial, legal and regulatory landscape governing communications for pre-approval and post-approval pharmaceutical products We are committed to building a workplace with an inclusive culture.
