Actively participates in administering patient care and ensures a safe and comforting environment. Must be able to interact with patients, families, physicians and all levels of staffing an effective manner.Essential Functions:Actively participates in administering patient care and ensures a safe and comforting environmentResponds to patients' needs in a timely mannerAssists patients with ADL's, including meals, bathing, and hygiene needsDemonstrates ability to perform 12 lead EKG.Qualifications:Education: High School graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred. Completion of CNA Program, Medical Assistant Program, PCA or similar program preferred.Licensure/Certification: Current BLS certification required. Basic EKG skills required within six months of employment.Experience: Six (6) months to one (1) year of continuous experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred.As part of our nursing team, you are empowered to work collaboratively with our physicians and other caregivers, and play an integral role in setting the standard for excellence in patient care. With low, fixed nurse-to-patient ratios, our nursing team has time to get to know their patients and their families while providing the highest quality, safe, patient-focused care.
