Restoration Crew Chief

Join Our Franchise as a Crew ChiefManage and complete jobs according to SERVPRO® processes per work order. Respond to service calls, set up and establish efficient job flow, coordinate requirements for the job, complete job documentation, perform and supervise production work, and monitor assigned jobs from start to finish. Follow and enforce all safety procedures on the job site. Communicate and establish relationships with commercial, insurance, and residential customers.Technicians will be assigned to an on-call crew and scheduled for a certain week each month to respond to after-hours emergency service requests. While non-emergency jobs requiring service at night or on weekends are uncommon, the on-call crew—or, when necessary, the full team—may be required to complete these jobs to meet customer needs and maintain service standards. We are a 24/7 emergency service provider.Responsibilities include explaining processes and answering customer questions, monitoring, communicating, and responding to customer needs/concerns, communicating clear expectations to Production Technicians and supervising their activities, performing production processes as scheduled and ensuring quality control, identifying safety hazards, communicating, and establishing control measures to ensure the safety of occupants and workers, resolving problems quickly as they arise, managing job file documentation to ensure complete and accurate project details, managing and controlling costs of production projects, managing assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly, cleaning and maintaining vehicles, equipment, warehouse, and office areas, and performing sales and marketing activities, including add-on sales and security checks.Qualifications include effective written and oral communication, experience in cleaning/restoration preferred, high school diploma/GED, IICRC certifications preferred, and ability to travel locally or out of state when necessary.Physical and work environment requirements include the ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance, exposure to chemicals, walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing, ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights, ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces under buildings), and repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects.Compensation: $20.00 per hour
