About the Position

Job Title: CT Scan Tech Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 1 year preferred, 6 months Level 1 trauma required License: South Carolina License required (must be active at the time of start) Certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R), ARRT CT, SCRQSA (R) CT Must-Have: Clienttion badge (must be supplied by agency) Siemens experience Level 1 Trauma experience Description: This position is for a CT Scan Tech. The daily caseload varies per shift and location. The shifts are scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. There is no on-call required. The clinician will float within scope to meet facility needs. Previous experience in Level 1 trauma is required. First-timers with relevant experience are accepted. Required certifications include BLS, ARRT RT (R), ARRT CT, and SCRQSA (R) CT. Experience with Siemens equipment is essential. The role involves working in a teaching hospital environment. The facility serves a diverse patient demographic, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 130. The unit includes routine studies as well as outpatients and interventional procedures. Experience in biopsies and drainage is preferred. Preparedness for emergency response during hurricane season is necessary. The traveler's first submission must include time-off requests. All time-off requests must be indicated at the time of submission. The facility prioritizes non-local candidates. Candidates with an active South Carolina license will receive priority consideration. Travelers must complete compliance requirements in a timely manner. The role entails adherence to safety measures, including the use of a radiation badge. All candidates must fulfill licensing and compliance procedures prior to the start date.
