WE ARE CURRENTLY HIRING A FULL TIME BARISTA/ SERVER FOR OUR WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA CAFE LOCATION 

OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION
James Perse, California based lifestyle brand, opened its first US C afé in West Hollywood . The Barista/Server will serve as a critical brand ambassador for the business by modeling and embodying the spirit and behaviors of the James Perse brand.

A great candidate for this role will be a quick and willing learner, have an eye for detail and have an outgoing, confident and customer-focused service style. Experience in a fast paced, top tier specialty coffee setting is a must.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The  Barista/Server is responsible for ensuring that all café customers are satisfied with our services and food. This will be accomplished by providing excellent customer service and building relationships with returning customers.

• Take customer food and beverage orders
• Offer recommendations based on best-seller menu items
• Run orders out to tables
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with regular clients
• Ensure that all customers’ needs are met
• Regularly clean, wipe tables, polish glasses, and cutlery
• Offer exceptional, detail-oriented customer service
• Work with 3rd party delivery applications to satisfy client orders

Qualifications:

• 6 months to 1 year of experience as a barista, server, or busboy in a fast-paced restaurant or café
• Willing to learn about coffee, food items, luxury brands, and the importance of exceptional customer service
• Outgoing, positive, and friendly demeanor
• Physical requirements: able stand for long periods of time, climb stairs multiple times a day, lift and move boxes up to 35 lbs (16 kg)

PAY TRANSPARENCY 

This position pays $20.00 - $22.00 per hour plus tips
