Outsource Accounting Senior Consultant

We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper / staff accountant to provide interim staffing and resourcing solutions to clients, working onsite or remotely as required. Responsibilities Create or maintain records of financial transactions for clients using various accounting systems. Perform daily accounting activities, including recording transactions, reconciling sub‑ledger account balances, and financial reporting. Verify, allocate, and post details of business transactions to the accounting system. Complete month‑end accounting close procedures. Support audits by external entities, preparing supporting schedules, gathering information, and providing analysis as requested. Prepare ad‑hoc reports such as cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss statements, and other operational reports. Perform payroll and payroll tax‑related returns. Analyze financial information to prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports summarizing current and projected company financial position. Verify contracts, orders, and vouchers, and prepare reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred; Associate's degree in Accounting required. CPA or CMA preferred but not required. Public Accounting experience preferred but not required. 3+ years of full‑charge bookkeeper/staff accountant experience, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and work paper preparation. Financial statement preparation and analysis experience. Proficiency with QuickBooks, Sage, and/or Creative Solutions accounting software. Experience with CCH® ProSystem fx® Fixed Assets preferred.
