Gastroenterologist

Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a BE/BC Gastroenterologist trained physician to join our established practice in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Serves as a general Gastroenterology staff physician providing safe, high-quality care within our regional delivery system. Practice Info Dedicated GI Lab time 2-3 times per week seeing on average 12-15 patients per day Clinic patient visits 1.5 days per week Responsibilities Delivers clinical care to patients in the PMG GI practice in all venues including clinic and lab Support mechanisms to gather and report quality measures Receives and resolves patient, staff and provider complaints Participates in quality improvement plans Works with the leadership team including clinic manager and lab manager on the practices financial, clinical, and service quality performance Participates in the recruitment and retention of physicians and staff who work in the practice Takes corrective action when arranged with accountability and authority Ability to determine care plans for patients and execute them Ability to teach, train and oversee APCs in the care they deliver to GI patients in clinic Performs other functions as required Compensation Nationally competitive salary Benefits Relocation allowance available CME allowance Fully paid malpractice insurance Robust wellness program, including free access to our on-site and community-based gyms, nutrition coaching and classes, wellness challenges and more Robust, day one effective benefits plan consisting of medical, dental, vision and more 403b retirement savings program with both matching programs and employer contributions Strongline silent alarm badge RESET program Shift & Schedule Full time FTE: 1.00 Expected work schedule; 36 hours of direct patient care, 4 hours of administrative time Qualifications MD/DO Board-eligible or certified in Gastroenterology Ability to obtain NM State License, DEA and NM Controlled Substance Registration (CSR)
