Digital Product Manager

Position Summary Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring a Digital Product Manager to plan, initiate, and manage IT projects for digital product development in Woonsocket, RI. The role includes collaborating on value propositions, strategic initiatives, roadmaps, and target markets; working with Business Product Managers to map out initiatives for MVP features; streamlining execution of team priorities while maintaining conceptual and technical integrity; continuously refining the program backlog; partnering with business teams to decompose large initiatives; monitoring feature implementation; collaborating with software product owners and agile teams; resolving questions and supporting product owner teams during user story creation; facilitating requirements definition; addressing dependencies, opportunities, and risk; and providing subject matter expertise on digital product vision and architecture. Responsibilities Collaborate on the value proposition, strategic initiatives, roadmap, and target market. Work with the Business Product Manager to map out initiatives to create Minimum Viable Product (MVP) features that are usable and provide value (ROI). Streamline the execution of team priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of features and components. Continuously refine the program backlog, facilitating decision-making on stories, bug fixes, and technical debt as they move through stages in the Rally board. Partner with business teams to decompose large initiatives into features that deliver business value incrementally. Monitor feature implementation with the Business Product Manager and respective Product Owners. Collaborate with software product owners and agile teams to review business needs, refine priorities, outline deliverables, and identify and address dependencies, opportunities, and risk. Review features with Agile teams; resolve questions and support product owner teams during user story creation and refinement. Collaborate with interfacing agile and application teams to facilitate requirements definition and resolve impediments. Collaborate with stakeholders to decompose features into prioritized user stories that deliver value and tangible business results. Provide feedback on architecture recommendations with respect to product vision to ensure the development team has sufficient understanding to design, develop, and test user story functionality. Provide subject‑matter expertise to explain digital product vision and user stories to the team to ensure requirements are understood and customer value is delivered. Liaise with the Business Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Initiative Owner, and Solution Architect to clarify requirements. Qualifications Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Three (3) years of experience in each of the following: XML and JSON; Agile methodologies and SAFe Software Development Principles; ATG Commerce; REST, SOAP, Oracle, and Teradata; DB2, JIRA, and Rally; Confluence; Amazon Web Services; MySQL and SQL; Tableau and Kafka; Software development lifecycle (SDLC); Domain support for healthcare or retail organization; Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) processes; designing data models and solutions for analytical and reporting use cases; and Data warehousing. Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $172,370.00/year to $172,370.00/year. The position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range, and includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
