Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg / Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Deliver direct patient care in a Med Surg / Telemetry / Progressive Care (Step-Down) unit setting.
• Utilize EPIC EMR to document and manage patient information accurately and efficiently.
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.
• May be required to float to the Emergency Department.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of previous step-down or PCU/IMC experience required.
• Active Iowa RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association required.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
• Valid driver's license required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC EMR.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and progressive care patient populations.
