Loader/Unloader Material Handler (2nd Shift)

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Loader/Unloader Material Handler to join our team in Carson, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials in a warehouse setting. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks with care and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely load and unload materials and products from trucks and containers.
• Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse.
• Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and report any issues.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks, as needed.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain organization of the warehouse and keep the area clean and clutter-free.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks and ensure safety.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet operational goals.

Requirements:

• Must have steel-toe boots as required for safety.
• Previous experience in material handling, loading, or unloading is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
