About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Valid Florida State or compact license required at time of submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: EPIC experience required Description: No call is required, but there is an opportunity to float. Availability to work holidays might be necessary to fulfill scheduling needs. Experience in managing a patient ratio of 1:2-3 is expected. Weekend shifts are required, every other weekend or a total of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period. Travelers will have a home base but may float to other units or locations. The following certifications are required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS. Pending licenses are not accepted, and a valid license is required at the time of submission. It is mandatory to provide two references from authority figures within the last year. Flu vaccination is required, with exemptions only for medical or religious reasons. The COVID-19 vaccine is also required, with exemptions permitted for medical or religious reasons. For submission, background policies must be noted. Candidates with certain educational backgrounds will not be accepted. Travel pairs are accepted if approved by the unit leader but will not guarantee the same schedule. MUST be available for lab work within 72 hours of signing. Modules are non-billable and will be completed during orientation, recorded via the facility's LMS system.
