Facilities Maintenance Technician

The Facilities Maintenance Technician will perform general facility maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the manufacturing facility. The position requires strong hands-on mechanical skills and experience working with building systems and industrial equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform general building maintenance, repairs, and remodeling.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues.
• Maintain and troubleshoot pumps, motors, gearboxes, air compressors, and boilers.
• Perform welding and general fabrication as needed.
• Perform carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, and other facility repairs.
• Replace and maintain belts, filters, fixtures, doors, cabinets, and other building components.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Safely operate hand, power, and bench tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and report hazardous conditions.
• Work with other departments to support facility and production needs.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of general maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, commercial, or similar environment.
• Key Technical Skills Required: Air Compressors, Boilers, Welding, Basic Electrical, Pumps, Motors, Gearboxes, and Plumbing.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, mechanical systems, carpentry, and painting.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Valid driver's license if operating a company vehicle.
