This position is for an Mechanical Assembler supporting hands-on manufacturing operations in Childersburg, AL. Ideal candidates will possess assembly experience, manufacturing experience, or mechanical aptitude, and should be comfortable using hand tools and basic power tools. The role involves assembling parts and components by following work instructions and production standards. You will be working in a team-based production environment where attention to detail, reliability, and consistency are paramount. Responsibilities

• Assemble components and sub-assemblies according to instructions.
• Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and correctly.
• Perform visual inspections and quality checks.
• Work on your feet in a production or assembly environment.
• Support daily production goals and safety requirements.

Essential Skills

• Experience in assembly, production, or manufacturing (or strong mechanical aptitude).
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on work environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with pneumatics, hand tools, or basic wiring.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
• Basic knowledge of torque specs and fastener types.
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing.

Work Environment

The position is based in a manufacturing environment with work hours from Monday to Thursday, 6 am to 5 pm. Employees will use technologies and equipment such as hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments, adhering to safety and production standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Childersburg, AL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
