• Conducting standard and advanced clinical laboratory examinations-spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-according to established guidelines.
• Reviewing test results for precision, troubleshooting discrepancies, and managing preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assisting with sample collection and preparing specimens for testing as required.
• Thoroughly documenting all procedures, training new personnel or students, and maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Ensuring a clean and safe working environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is to be acquired within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification throughout your employment.
