We will strive to provide reasonable notice of any changes to your work location or schedule whenever possible.As a Senior in our Audit service line, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:Supervise teams of staff accountants and review staff deliverables for accuracy while providing feedback and guidanceParticipate in planning and lead the day-to-day execution of the audit according to auditing standardsPrepare high-quality work product for supervisor review Complete assigned projects within engagement timelines and budget guidelinesIdentify accounting issues and propose strategies to resolve themThink creatively to discover innovative solutions to engagement efficiency and effectivenessCommunicate status of work and issues with managers or partners on a timely basisBuild strong relationships with client personnel and serve as the client’s primary contact where appropriateEffectively utilize firm audit software and research tools to continually learn, share knowledge, and enhance the quality of service to clientsDelegate assignments effectively and provide on-the-job training to help staff develop analytical and client relationship-building skillsTake initiative to assist staff and encourage teamwork and an open exchanges of ideasIdentify areas of potential process improvement for clients and recommend best practicesParticipate in trainings, recruiting events, and firm activitiesTo be successful, these are the skills, qualities and experience you will need:2+ years of experience depending on relevant work experienceBachelor’s degree in accounting or related major requiredCPA License or demonstrated progress towards obtaining license; Passed all four parts of the CPA exam is strongly preferred.Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relStrong technical aptitude of accounting skills with proficiency in US GAAP and GAASExhibit leadership skills that demonstrate strong judgement, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitiesStrong verbal and written communication skills in a professional settingAbility to learn in a fast paced environment and receptive to feedback and coachingAbility to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, and take initiative on projectsEffective time management and organizational skills, including the ability to supervise more than one engagement at a timeCan work independently and manage multiple assignments in a dynamic environmentHigh attention to detailA positive attitude and a team player mentality, willing and eager to assist others with a can-do spiritIs committed to delivering the highest level of client service and willing to go the extra mile to meet deadlinesExhibit a high degree of professionalism and ethical conductYou Matter - HCVT provides a variety of benefits and perks that help sustain a healthy and thriving work environment.Visit the Benefits sectionto learn moreThis salary range is specific to the state(s) listed and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill set and education; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
