As part of our team, your opportunities are limitless.ResponsibilitiesThe Sr. Construction Manager is responsible for the safety, quality, financial, production, schedule, vendor management/invoice approval, crew management/timesheet approval, site expectation setting, close out aggregation/dissemination per market project timeline requirements, inventory, and customer satisfaction performance of their assigned projects, which are typically initiative/activity specific.In addition, you will:Communicate with the Project Manager to develop and manage safety, quality, financials, production, schedule, inventory, resource, and customer satisfaction objectives as they relate to the construction phase assigned projects. Serves as the site-specific expert for assigned projectsWork with the Project Manager to develop initial project-specific budgeted cost and budgeted revenue estimates in an effort to mitigate cost overruns for the construction portion of assigned projectsUnder the direction of the Project Manager, take lead responsibility for all revenue and cost components of the construction portion of the projectWork with the Project Manager to develop and maintain the forecasted construction schedule for assigned projects and report on all milestone actualizations/schedule changesCreate, maintain, and archive SOW/OOM/BOMs for assigned projectsAdvise the Project Manager/Customer of any problems with the constructability of the projectReview surveys as required for each projectReview project drawings and provide design recommendationsReview and interpret project drawings for accurate SOW/BOM. Provide input to A&E and Project Managers with drawing redlines when requiredIdentify and schedule various subcontractors/internal crews required for the project buildReceive and review sub-contractor quotes, change orders, and invoicesWork with Project Controls in the issuance of sub-contractor Purchase Orders and the payment of sub-contractor invoicesEnsure all pass-through costs are accounted for in the SOW/BOMProvide coordination as needed with utility companies, OEMs, tenants, and federal, state, and local municipal requirements, including construction permit/inspection requirements, notifications, access, punch lists, and close-out. Monitor crew time that is being billed against assigned jobsParticipate in pre-construction meetings to clarify the safety, quality, SOW/BOM, schedule, and closeout requirements for internal crews/sub-contractors and ensure an accurate and complete SOW/BOM is in place and approved by the customer prior to starting constructionMonitor safety, quality, and schedule during the course of constructionEnsure all changes to the SOW/BOM that occur during the course of construction are being passed through to the customer as soon as possibleEnsure all closeout requirements are being delivered as close to real-time as possible and within the natural cadence of the projectParticipate in post-construction meetings to verify crew/sub-contractor quality, true-up sub-contractor Purchase Orders, true-up SOM/BOM, and verify that all closeout documents have been deliveredOther duties as assignedQualificationsAbout You:MUST have FTTH construction operations experienceYou have 3+ years of experience as a Construction Manager, managing FTTH projectsYou have a track record of completing work with a high level of qualityYou have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your workAre proficient in Microsoft Office suitesHave excellent oral and written communication skillsHave excellent time management, organizational planning, and problem-solving skillsYou follow instructions, respond to management direction, and keep commitmentsStrong leadership and project management skillsAble to manage, establish, and communicate clear goals and objectivesCompensation of $115,000-$125,000 annually, depending on the experience.Hard work pays off.
