Title
Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule
Nights (1900-0730) rotating weekends. 1 12-hour call shift required per pay period.

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements
1. Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
2. Healthcare Provider Level BLS required.
3. AHA ACLS and NRP certifications required.
4. Basic Fetal Monitoring skills required.
5. STABLE preferred.
6. Previous experience in stabilization of the high-risk neonate preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and recovery, including postpartum and newborn care.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure a safe, family-centered environment.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs during the labor process.
- Assist in triage, labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery care.
- Implement interventions based on care protocols for high-risk neonates.
- Educate patients and families on care processes and post-discharge considerations.
