Exciting Opportunity for Cath Lab Tech - Join a Dynamic Team!

Job Description:


- Shift: 07:00-19:00
- Location: Weatherford, TX
- Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 6 holding bays and 2 cath lab procedure rooms
- Staffing: 13 total (2 CVTs, 7 RNs, 1 PT RN, 1 PRN CVT, 2 RNs)
- Patient Ratios: 4-man teams, RNs rotate through cath lab holding (pre-op/recovery)

- Typical Procedures:
- R/L heart caths
- Peripheral and carotids angio/stents
- PE/DVT cases
- Impella/IABP
- TEE/Cardioversion
- PPMs
- IVC filters
- ECMO cannulations

- More About the Position:
- Type of Equipment: GE and Philips cath lab equipment
- EMR System: Meditech / Merge
- On Call Requirement: Approx. 15 days in a 6-week period (self-scheduling)
- Floating Requirement: Possible to float to tasks in other departments if needed

- Hiring Profile:
- Must-Have Skills:
- For RN: Experience in circulating, scrubbing, monitoring, preop, recovery
- For CV Xray Tech: Must be registered and capable of X-raying cath lab cases
- Preferred Skills:
- RN with scrub experience
- CV Xray Tech with pre/post procedure care experience
