Seasonal Part Time - Snapdragon Stadium Catering Server Required to work without direct supervision, independently under rigorous working conditions. Responsibilities Set up and break down catering events Work independently at catering events Safely and properly return catering equipment after events Inventory supplies and equipment; report discrepancies to management Complete full‑service load lists for the following day Conduct all inventories, including paper goods, linens, porcelain, and glass Ensure appropriate storage and maintenance of all equipment and supplies Assist in loading and unloading company vehicles with supplies and equipment Receive pick‑ups from food areas for delivery back to the catering “Cage” or other locations Load and unload catering vehicles Assist in stocking products delivered Comply with company policies and all federal, state, and local laws, employment, safety, and health regulations Minimum Education, Training & Experience High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) degree At least six months of experience in food service or retail operations, or equivalent combination of education and experience Food Handler certificate from the County of San Diego (preferred) Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification (preferred) Key Skills & Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills, self‑motivation, organization, and ability to multi‑task English language proficiency: reading, writing, and verbal communication Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division Common‑sense reasoning, ability to follow written and oral instructions, prioritize work, and pay attention to detail Manual dexterity and ability to use computer, office machines, and food service equipment Capacity to carry out manual work, lift or carry up to 50 pounds, and perform tasks that require prolonged standing Physical Demands & Working Conditions Work is regularly performed in a food production area that may be dimly lit, with exposure to wet or humid conditions and frequent food fumes or airborne particles. The employee may work near moving mechanical parts, in varying weather conditions, and at temperatures that can be hot or cold. The role involves frequent standing, lifting or carrying objects, and use of manual and computer equipment. Shift Availability Candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs. This may include opening, mid‑day, closing, night shifts, weekends, and holidays throughout the year. Background Check A background check will be conducted after a conditional offer of employment is extended and accepted. It includes verification of education and employment histories, criminal records, national sex offender registry check, and references. Additional checks may include a credit report, motor vehicle report, and professional license verification, as the nature and scope of the position requires.
