Registered Behavior Technician- PRN - Flexible Schedule

Job Summary We are opening an ABA Therapy Clinic in Wilmington, North Carolina and are seeking a PRN Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with a flexible schedule to join our team. The RBT will apply empirically based behavioral principles to clients, support treatment teams, and ensure timely completion of documentation. Responsibilities Apply empirically based behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients and staff. Implement Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs) under the direction of behavior analysts/consultants. Teach clients to acquire language, academic, self‑help, and social skills as outlined in the ITPs. Assist clients with academic and appropriate life skills, including toilet training, eating, and other self‑help skills. Collaborate as a team‑player, contributing ideas and assisting with work duties. Actively participate in staff training programs to enhance overall skills. Communicate professionally and respectfully with parents, behavior analysts/consultants, therapist trainers, therapists, and clients. Become fluent in administering the VB‑MAPP, ABLLS, and other assessments as needed. Observe, record, and report client conditions and behaviors, maintaining daily records. Work with clients, staff, families, and community to implement treatment plans. Consistently implement behavior plans to reduce socially inappropriate behavior and promote appropriate social behaviors. Effectively respond to and manage crisis situations, including client physical aggression and property destruction. Complete daily paperwork and data collection notes in a detailed, accurate, and timely manner. Follow Adapt for Life and Adaptive Community Support Services policies, including adherence to confidentiality and HIPAA regulations. Submit all notes, progress reports, billing, and other documentation on time. Maintain professional growth through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to stay current with field trends. Qualifications High school diploma, preferably some college coursework. Registered Behavior Technician, or ability to obtain certification within three months of hire. Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis, Medicaid, Waiver, and Private Insurance preferred. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with people at all organizational levels. Leadership experience and strong interpersonal and people skills. Technical, analytical, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to develop programs aligned with Adaptive Community Support Services goals. Physical Requirements Physically able to respond appropriately at all times when working directly with a patient. Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs. Able to react quickly to behavioral outbursts in children and young adults. Benefits Performance based raises every six months. Weekly pay. Competitive wages.
