Shift: Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

Description: Cross posting for job ID 33342791. Three weeks either 4x10s (8-18:30 or 9-19:30) or 4x12s (07:00-19:30). Every fourth weekend. Located at the main hospital campus they’re connected via breezeway across the street. It is the Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center: 1240 Lee St, Charlottesville, VA 22908. May be required to float to two other local infusion centers, but unlikely. BLS required. Must hold ONS Chemo/Bio provider card. Experience with cellular therapies (stem cell/CART) preferred.

• Additional Unit Information: Interdisciplinary Support: IV Teams, Interpretation Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy Patient Diagnoses: This infusion center cares for our cellular therapies, early phase clinical trials, and leukemia population, in addition to other oncology diagnosis. This infusion center does not provide primary infusion services to patients with non-oncology infusion needs.
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: This unit also includes our Oncology Same Day Care Clinic, which is part of the infusion center and run by the infusion center APP teams.

Special Requirements:

• #Tier2 Travel Compliance RTO - Travelers are only guaranteed up to 40 hours of RTO per 13-week contract. Please confirm RTO requests are accurate at time of submission. No additional RTO requests will be approved after acceptance. If traveler has any vacation plans during the period between Sign Date and Start Date, this must be communicated to the Client Delivery Manager at the time of submission to ensure a realistic start date may be requested.
• Experience - Please refer to the job description for required experience.
• Valid State License - Will accept pending licenses, but must have license in-hand the Wednesday before start date. However, RRT travelers must have license in-hand at time of submission.
• Mile Radius Rule - select units have a 50 mile travel restriction, any units not listed do not have a mile radius rule. Locals not accepted for the following units: Clinical Lab Blood Bank, Toxicology, Clinical Lab Scientist, Core Lab, Davis Lab, Laboratory, Histotechnologists, Outpatient Surgery Center PACU, OR - CVOR, OR, OR - Ortho, OR - Thoracic, OR - Neuro, Peri-Anesthesia, Sterile Processing Tech, Outpatient Surgery, Interventional Radiology, CT Tech, Diagnostic Rad Tech, MRI Radiology, Neuro Interventional Radiology- RN, Neuro Interventional Radiology Tech, Vein Clinic, Radiology RN, Imaging Support.

• Float Requirements - Candidates will be asked to float within their scope of practice within the facility.
• Copy of Certification - Please include copy of certification(s) that are required in the job description with submissions.
• Required Charting Exp. - Epic experience is required unless otherwise notated in the unit description or job description.
• Background Policy - If aware of background hit(s), please inform Client Delivery Manager.
• Return Staff Policy - Please inform Client Delivery Manager if previously employed at any facilities under University of Virginia Health system as permanent staff member or internal/external traveler. For perm staff and internal travelers to be eligible to return, clinician must be separated for one year and be approved by UVA leadership. *Note that UVA does not allow external travelers to work on assignment for more than 365 days, regardless of time off between contracts.
• Separation Policy: Facility does not allow travelers to return after they have worked on assignment for 365 days, despite any separation period. BSN preferred. Nursys verification is required for submittal. Modules: Modules are non-billable, up to 16 hours. Any time spent on modules in excess of 16 hours is billable. Modules are completed during orientation, and vary by specialty. Modules are recorded in Workday.
