Job Summary:
Home Health Care RN in Rockport, Maine. This role involves providing in-home patient care, utilizing EPIC and OASIS electronic health record systems, with a focus on adult medical-surgical, oncology, cardiac, neurological, respiratory, wound care, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary patients. The position offers a permanent schedule with a consistent day shift, ensuring a balanced work-life arrangement.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of experience in home health care with EPIC and OASIS proficiency.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IV therapy, tube feeds, VAC dressings, compression wraps, port access, ostomies, chest tubes, Foley catheters, lab draws, and other advanced procedures.
• Patient Ratios: Manage 20-25 adult patients with an expectation of 5-6 visits daily.
• Equipment & EMR: Clinicians will be provided with a laptop, iPhone, nursing supplies, vital signs equipment, INR machine, and agency bags, all of which must be returned upon departure.
• Additional Information: No float requirements. Call back duties are required 2-4 times per month between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with notifications provided by 5:00 PM if an additional visit is needed. Candidates should demonstrate organized, collaborative teamwork, effective communication, good time management, and openness to feedback.
