You’ll work closely with a manageable caseload of around 20-25 students, encompassing both general education and special education backgrounds. Key Qualifications:

• Valid social worker credential appropriate for school settings
• Experience collaborating in educational environments with adolescents
• Background supporting both general education and special education students is a plus
• Strong communication, empathy, and organizational skills
• Ability to build trust and rapport quickly with students and staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and small-group counseling geared toward 8th graders’ academic and personal growth
• Address barriers to learning by developing strategies alongside educators and families
• Provide crisis intervention support as needed
• Help facilitate positive behavior interventions and restorative practices
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure holistic student well-being
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school guidelines
