Quality Inspector

-Perform receiving, in-process, first article, and final inspections of machined parts.
- Set up, operate, and program CMMs to inspect parts and generate reports.
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, indicators, and optical comparators.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements.
- Inspect parts throughout the manufacturing process and identify quality concerns.
- Prepare and review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR/AS9102).
- Review work orders, certifications, test reports, and other quality documentation.
- Document and report nonconforming materials; support corrective actions and root cause analysis.
- Assist with supplier quality activities, including inspections and corrective actions.
- Maintain calibration records and support quality audits.
- Track inspection results and quality metrics using Excel.
- Partner with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
- Support quality projects and other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- CMM operation experience required; programming experience preferred
- Proficient with precision measurement tools and inspection equipment
- Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T
- Understanding of machining and manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with ISO/AS quality standards and First Article Inspections (AS9102)
