STARTING DATE: August 26, 2026

Certified $20.07 - $24.95 At Maple Avenue, we are looking for team-oriented people who enjoy being around children between 6-10 years old. An elementary school is very busy, so staff members will be on the move much of the day, supporting students in classrooms, hallways, the cafeteria and the playground. Our paraprofessional positions are student specific, and staff are assigned to work 1:1 or in a shared position (supporting 2-4 students in a class depending on student age and need). Students who require paraprofessional support typically need help in areas such as behavioral management, self-regulation, communication, motor skills, mobility, and/or activities of daily living (such as toileting). Flexibility is important, as at times, paraprofessionals may be asked to work with a different student, cover a classroom for a teacher while they attend a meeting, or provide extra assistance on the playground or in the lunchroom.
