YOUR DAY Specific hours can vary, but availability is required for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. The Deli Lead oversees the daily activities and ensures our food service team delivers polite, professional, and prompt customer service. Leading by example, you\'ll guide your team in accurately fulfilling customers\' orders while following all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. You\'ll manage our inventory of fresh ingredients and prepackaged foods, routinely rotating products to maintain freshness and prevent waste. To help drum up sales, you\'ll hand out samples and recommend additional products to customers. You\'ll politely answer any questions and help customers find the products they\'re looking for. Once they\'ve made a selection, you\'ll properly prepare, wrap, bag, and label the food items before cashing them out at our digital point-of-sale system. You\'ll train your team in doing the best they can for customers and send members home if we\'re over-staffed. Additional responsibilities include preparing special orders and party trays, cleaning the deli and display cases, and helping team members with their own tasks as needed. DELI LEAD REQUIREMENTS Ability to frequently lift 25 lbs. and occasionally lift 60 lbs. Ability to read, write, follow instructions, and perform simple math calculations Solid problem-solving skills Preferred - ServSafe certification Preferred - High school degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience Preferred - Team spirit and strong collaboration/interpersonal skills REQUIREMENTS Must have the ability to pass a background check. #J-18808-Ljbffr Shopfroehlichs
