Title: Float Clinical Therapist

Reports to: Executive Director assigned by the MOD

Department/Location: Onsite at Guidelight Facilities

FLSA Status: Exempt

Role Summary:

The Per Diem Therapist will work across multiple assigned locations for the Adult and Adolescent Guidelight Programs. The Per Diem Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality care and therapeutic services to individuals dealing with various behavioral issues. In the coverage capacity, Per Diem Therapists will offer group therapy and in long term coverage need instances, individual sessions. Additionally, the Per Diem Therapist will develop and implement treatment plans, conduct assessments, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver effective behavioral health interventions. Potential to provide supervision to other clinical staff on a coverage basis. The Per Diem Therapist will receive a schedule in advance, though, this is subject to change depending on clinic needs. Guidelight is committed to the professional growth and development of therapists and provides free clinical supervision hours to support clinicians in working toward licensure.

Role Responsibilities/Competencies:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine clients' needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy.
• Monitor and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plans to create a cohesive case conceptualization.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical doctors, to provide comprehensive care.
• Completes suicide risk assessment within identified time frames and with appropriate thoroughness and scoring while consulting with clinical leaders.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews determining length of stay and level of care.
• Assess and identify community resources based on clients needs during treatment/ aftercare planning.
• Adhere to all standardized Group Curriculum and Treatment Planning.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health and behavioral issues while building supportive and trusting relationships
• Comes prepared to weekly clinical supervision with relevant client updates, case formulations, and questions to support high-quality care.
• Adhere to all confidentiality and ethical guidelines as outlined by professional standards and laws.
• Stay updated on the latest research and developments in behavioral therapy and mental health.

Required Qualifications:

• A master's degree in psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• Valid state independent licensure in Massachusetts as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or equivalent.
• If eligible based on licensure status and applicable state regulations, must be willing to provide formal clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians as part of Guidelight's supervision program. This includes actively supporting the development of associate licensed professionals in accordance with organizational standards and state-specific supervisory requirements.
• Experience in behavioral therapy and counseling.
• Experience with providing group therapy.
• Ability to manage clients in a group setting via in person and virtual platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant PHP/IOP experience
• Group Facilitation experience

Pay Range: $35 - $46 USD
