Duties and Responsibilities: Manage plaintiff personal injury matters from intake through settlement or trial. Handle a caseload comprising approximately 70% pre-litigation and 30% litigation matters. Develop case strategy designed to maximise outcomes for clients. Conduct and defend depositions. Represent clients at hearings, mediations and trials. Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel. Deliver clear and persuasive written and oral advocacy. Maintain regular client contact throughout the life of each case. Collaborate with case managers, paralegals and other attorneys to move cases forward efficiently. Handle matters involving automobile accidents, bodily injury, premises liability, slip-and-fall claims, nursing-home negligence and medical malpractice. Core Requirements: Active Florida Bar membership in good standing. Approximately 5-15 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience. Participation in at least three completed trials, excluding cases that settled at the courthouse. First-chair trial experience is preferred, although strong second-chair experience will be considered. Strong litigation, negotiation and courtroom advocacy skills. Ability to manage both pre-litigation and litigated matters. Excellent client-service and relationship-management skills. Willingness to work from the Palm Beach Gardens office four days per week.
