Commissioning Project Engineer

Responsibilities Responsible for pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up of building systems. Participate in screenings, studies, and operation write-ups, and assist with operation, troubleshooting, and client operation training. Collaborate with project engineering design colleagues to ensure drawings are created in accordance with all commissioning requirements. Regularly monitor and report commissioning progress. Review criteria, specifications, drawings, equipment submittals, and other documentation associated with commissioning projects. Oversee completion of multi-discipline division of work related to pre-commissioning or commissioning on projects. Review, approve, and oversee multi-discipline commissioning processes to ensure compliance with project procedures, specifications, and standards, and oversee the installation and design of commissioning supplies and systems. Ensure safety procedures and practices are followed. Audit commissioning activities regularly to ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Experience in operation and process design. Monitoring-based commissioning experience. Experience in applying HSE standards, leading a start-up and commissioning team, and providing operation classroom training while maintaining HSE consistency onsite. Knowledge of conducting and writing commissioning reports. Willingness to travel; this position requires local travel to job sites. Ability to communicate and present effectively with staff, principals, and clients. Representative tasks at times include walking the site with clients and partners, doing site surveys, and performing other tasks that may have you carry, move, and climb ladders to gain access to infrastructure covered by drop ceilings; and crawl, bend, and reach to gain access to and assess building systems. #J-18808-Ljbffr
