Senior EngineerResponsibilities for this position include:Applies standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, or improve products, components, or assemblies.Analyzes, develops and evaluates systems.Improves and maintains current systems or creates brand new projects.Designs and drafts blueprints, visits systems in the field and manages projects.Applies engineering techniques and analyses within the scope of the assignment.The general profile for this role includes:Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplinesSolves complex problemsWorks independently, receives minimal guidanceMay lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for on-going activities or objectivesActs as a resource for colleagues with less experienceConsistent exercise of discretion & judgmentRequired qualifications include:Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experienceDiscipline/Major: Engineering degree requiredCritical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Preferred qualifications include:Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Technology or Chemical Engineering.Knowledge, skills & abilities: Oral and written communication skills. Critical thinking skills. Problem solving skills. Mathematic skills. Computer skills.
