Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
- Safely operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials as needed
- Provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with deliveries and loading/unloading of trucks
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a lumber yard, warehouse, or similar environment is preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment (training provided if necessary)
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
